WO Mic vs WO Mic Pro: Which Version Do You Need?

WO Mic is free, but the Pro upgrade keeps appearing in the app store. Before paying, it helps to know exactly what changes – and for most users the free version is enough.

What the free version includes

The free app supports all three connection modes – Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth – and works with the full desktop client. Audio quality, latency and compatibility are identical to Pro. The differences are cosmetic and convenience features.

• Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth connections
• Full desktop client support
• All standard audio settings
• Ad-supported mobile interface

What Pro adds

Pro removes ads from the mobile app and unlocks a handful of convenience options, such as additional buffer settings and priority support. It does not improve audio quality – that is limited by your phone's hardware and the network.

Who should upgrade

If you open the app daily and the ads annoy you, Pro is a cheap quality-of-life upgrade. If you use it occasionally for meetings, the free version covers everything you need.

Bottom line

Start with the free version. Use it for a week in your real workflow; if the ads or limits bother you, upgrade then. There is no functional reason to pay upfront.

Frequently Asked Questions
