The training required to hold drawing courses.

Not all high school addresses can provide their students with the opportunity to experience and experience creative exploration and stimulating artistic pursuits. Generally, in a technical-scientific institute, the possibility is given to learning the basics of technical drawings. At the same time, in the linguistic-humanistic paths, it is possible to deepen the history of art, but not much more in terms of pictorial and artistic explorations in general. ! Unfortunately, the arts, their history, and their infinite applications are often neglected in secondary school (high school or vocational school).

The art institutes were officially established in 1923, within the Italian system for artistic education, with the aim of training in artistic production, according to the traditions, industries, and regional raw materials, articulated as royal art schools (equivalent to the first degree of artistic education), royal art-industrial schools (i.e., the second degree of creative education) and royal art institutes (third degree of artistic education). These bodies had a training offer significantly influenced by the territorial relationship between art and craft, which is why very heterogeneous training sections in minor or professional skills were activated at the regional level, such as jewelry, ceramics, mosaic, art printing, decoration, and design, and in the commercial arts, such as advertising graphics, photography, scenography, fashion, animation and film production—these specific variants concerned, in particular the territories where these craft traditions had a very deep-rooted foundation.

The Gemini reform led to the birth of a series of different addresses:

  • Address figurative arts
  • Address architecture and environment
  • Address design
  • Audiovisual and multimedia address
  • Graphic address
  • Scenography address

Register for VAT to become a drawing teacher

An alternative currently available is to become your entrepreneur by opening a VAT number with a flat-rate scheme, the least expensive for those who start a business. This way, you can issue an invoice if a public or private school or training center is looking for teachers for small projects or issue receipts.

The bill of the Budget Maneuver launched for 2019 contains some changes compared to the past. There are profound changes to the flat-rate regime provided for natural persons (businesses and self-employed workers) introduced by art. 1, paragraphs 54-89, Law no. 190/2014 (2015 Stability Law). However, among the main aspects concerning the flat-rate regime currently in force, we can mention these:

  • It establishes a single requirement of access, as regards the limit of revenues/fees, fixed annual € 65,000;
  • assumes the sum of the revenues and fees relating to the various activities if activities characterized by different ATECO codes are carried out  ;
  • you are exempt from VAT, but for the first 3 years, apart from the taxes related to the payment of contributions, you pay a 5% tax, which becomes 15% on a percentage that varies depending on the type of activity that takes place (each action is characterized by a specific code, precisely the ATECO code,  and by a certain percentage of taxable income, i.e., that percentage of the gain on which the rate of taxes to be paid is calculated)

Opening a VAT number today is much easier than it used to be, but it remains the only way to work and to pay contributions and pay taxes. Furthermore, even having a flat-rate regime, we will be able to issue invoices and receipts, which we will then declare to the taxman with the help of our accountant.
